Having my relatives come over I knew these would have to survive the ultimate test. And I was really excited and happy to see that they all loved them.

800spirulinapowder__73242.1338568155.1280.1280

Today I wanted to talk about the amazing Superfood Spirulina. It’s a highly nutritious powder made from a blue-green algae usually harvested from freshwater lakes. I take this powder every single morning before breakfast as part of my morning routine and whilst it might not taste the best the benefits are defiantly worth it. I take mine in a pressed tablet form (Only ingredient: Spirulina) with some water. I also love mixing it into smoothies, as you can’t taste it at all when combined with fruit. I get mine from my local health food store but I know it can also be found online on healthstore websites like iherb.com.
